I recently had the pleasure of recording bass tracks for nine songs and vocals for one track at Lyrik Lab, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Cale Farnham, the engineer and producer, was exceptional — highly attentive, detail-oriented, and genuinely dedicated to getting the best possible sound. We used a Reddi Bass Preamp and the bass tracks came out flawless. Cale's keen ear really made the difference. He also made the whole process feel relaxed and comfortable. Cale has a mellow, welcoming vibe and made sure I felt at home — even keeping my favorite grapefruit seltzer stocked, which was a thoughtful touch. For the vocal session, we used the Pearlman microphones, and I was thrilled with the results. The vocals came out clean, warm, and exactly how I hoped they would.
